Drug discovery is evolving rapidly—driven by AI, translational science, precision medicine, and data-driven decision making. However, many PhD students and postdoctoral researchers remain focused on academically strong research without fully understanding how to strategically align their work with real-world industry needs.
This workshop is designed to help bridge that gap.
Participants will gain a broader understanding of where drug discovery is heading, which research areas are gaining momentum, what skills are becoming increasingly valuable, and how to strategically position themselves for impactful careers in biotech and pharmaceutical research.
Beyond research topics alone, this workshop will also explore how industry thinks, how decisions are made, and how researchers can develop the mindset and positioning needed to grow within the evolving drug discovery landscape.
