People on the Move: Roanne Yehia Joins RPM Tech as Business Development & Innovation Strategist

Roanne Yehia has joined RPM Tech (Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Technologies, LLC) as Business Development & Innovation Strategist. Based at the company’s Forest Hill, Maryland location, Yehia will drive business development and innovation initiatives focused on company growth, strategic partnerships, and operational strategy.

“I’m excited to lead Business Development & Innovation Strategy at RPM Tech because it brings together so many things I enjoy: engineering, creative problem-solving, and connecting people,” said Yehia. “My background in biomedical engineering and medtech, along with my experience founding flowgenius, has given me an appreciation for both the technical challenges and the people behind an idea. I’m looking forward to building relationships and helping shape RPM’s growth so we can reach more entrepreneurs and organizations, understand what they need, and help bring their ideas to life.”

About Roanne Yehia

Yehia brings experience spanning medical device engineering, digital health, and early-stage company building. She is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of flowgenius, which is developing science-driven organizational tools for people with executive dysfunction. At flowgenius, she led development of the company’s early prototype, combining CAD, 3D printing, and hardware and software development, and helped shape its early funding strategy and brand.

Previously, Yehia co-founded SinuStim, where she served as project manager and development engineer on a non-invasive, patent-pending neuromodulation device for chronic rhinosinusitis. She led the team through proof-of-concept testing and an academic FDA pre-submission meeting. The team won the grand prize at the Stu Clark New Venture Competition, first place at the HopStart business plan competition, and the Pava Innovation Prize.

Yehia also served as project manager and UI/UX designer at Intelehealth, helping implement an LLM-powered AI diagnostic tool for telemedicine platforms in low- and middle-income countries and rural India. Earlier, she was a Research & Development Engineer at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, where she developed a novel intraoperative knee sensor and studied knee and meniscal injury mechanics.

Yehia holds a master’s degree in Bioengineering Innovation & Design from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University.

Outside of work, Yehia enjoys trying new things, especially weightlifting, swimming, hiking, and rock climbing, as well as reading, crocheting, baking, and traveling.” I’m usually either working on a creative project or finding another hobby to try!”
